6/10/2015 · The Leica Q features both a mechanical and electronic shutter , with the latter capable of shutter speeds up to 1/16,000 second (the mechanical shutter tops out at 1/2000 second).
4/25/2019 · Hi Am new to Q2 and I am confused with the term focus range (assuming it refers to shutter speed) under the ELECTRONIC SHUTTER selection in page 91 of the English instruction manual (Image attached). The 3 selections are as follow :- When Off is selected —- Only the mechanical shutter .
The shutter speed dial is the same, with 1+ to 2000 second and A(uto) mode for the leaf shutter in the lens. Electronic shutter speeds up to 1/40,000 are available as well (a great improvement on the 1/16000 of the Q ).
